Can I use Android/iOS app if I'm not subscribed to Standard plan?
No, you need an active subscription to sign in into the Android/iOS app. You can create an account, but the app will not let you sign in unless you have a Standard Plan subscription.
Is cloud syncing available with Basic and Business plans?
No, the Basic and Business plans are designed for offline use and do not include cloud syncing. To sync your data to the cloud, you need an active Standard Plan subscription.
What's the difference between Basic and Business plan?
Both plans offer the same features and functionality. However, the Business plan offers a 30% bulk pricing discount, requiring a minimum purchase of 2 units. This allows you to activate Brisqi on more than 3 devices.
Will I continue to have access to updates released during the one-year period after I activate my Basic plan or Business plan license, even if I don't install them?
Yes, you will retain access to all updates released during that one-year period, regardless of whether you install them or not.
I bought a paid plan. How do I activate Brisqi?
If you purchased a license, go to Settings -> License to activate the app. If you created an account and bought the app from within Account Settings, simply sign in to Brisqi, and it will activate automatically.
If I purchase a license now but don't activate it until later, when will my one year of updates begin?
Your one year of updates will start from the date you first activate the license, not from the date of purchase. This means you can buy the license now and activate it later when you're ready.
Can I deactivate my license on a computer if I want to switch to a different machine?
Yes, you can deactivate your license on your current computer and activate it on the new machine you want to use.
Can I purchase a Business plan license using the same email I have for my Basic plan?
Yes, you can use the same email address for purchasing Business plan. You don't need to create an account anymore to purchase either Basic or Business plan.
Why can't I signup from the Android/iOS app?
Unfortunately, Google Play Store and Apple App Store policies do not allow in-app registration because Brisqi uses Stripe for payment processing instead of the stores' in-app subscription APIs. This approach enables Brisqi to support five different platforms.
I feel the Basic and Standard plans are expensive compared to other similar services.
Brisqi is a life-long project created for a niche audience. To ensure its sustainability, a subscription fee equivalent to the price of a coffee per month makes a significant difference. In return, you'll receive warm user support and access to all the features mentioned.
Why do you need my email?
Providing your email is optional when downloading the app for free. If you choose to provide it, I'll use it to send updates about the app/servce, discounts, terms of service etc. Rest assured, you won't receive any spam or unnecessary emails. You can unsubscribe at any time if you wish.
What do you mean by end-to-end encryption?
When your data is synced to the cloud, it is first encrypted on your computer before being transferred to Brisqi's servers. The data can only be decrypted on your computer, ensuring that no one else can access it except you.
Is there a student discount?
- Enrollment letter from your academic institution.
- Registration receipt with your name, date and duration of current term.
- Transcript or class schedule showing classes for the current term.
